The Ecomuseum of the Seasonal Lakes of Pivka<\/h1>\n<\/div>

The Ecomuseum of the Seasonal lakes of Pivka presents the story of water in the karst world of the Upper Pivka Basin. The area’s unique geological structure, combined with the uneven distribution of precipitation, causes a large fluctuation in the karst groundwater level. As many as seventeen intermittent lakes form in the valley along the high waters. To determine their formation, a special mill wheel must be turned. Individual lake presentations also include locals’ lives in the landscape, where there is sometimes too much and sometimes too little water. Models of the most important living environments, including wet and dry meadows, bushes, forests, and caves, supplement presentations of the Pivka basin’s extremely diverse flora and fauna.<\/p>\n<\/div>

Accessible Tourism<\/h1>\n<\/div>

Access to the Ecomuseum of the Seasonal Lakes of Pivka is easy and adapted for all visitors.<\/strong><\/p>\n

There is a designated parking space for disabled visitors in front of the building.<\/p>\n

A receptionist is present at the front desk throughout visiting hours to assist with door access and provide additional help as needed.<\/p>\n

The Ecomuseum is designed over two floors but is equipped with an elevator exclusively for visitors with disabilities.<\/p>\n

Wide and accessible pathways allow for easy movement throughout the entire space, and there are also accessible restrooms available for people with disabilities.<\/p>\n

For the blind and visually impaired, the museum features a model of the Pivka Lakes area, and the information panels are tailored to be accessible for the deaf. The space is also equipped with a hearing loop system for the hearing impaired, allowing for uninterrupted engagement with the exhibits.<\/p>\n

The museum visit concludes with a film projection showcasing the natural beauty of the Seasonal Lakes of Pivka Nature Park, accompanied by ambient music, so subtitles are not necessary.<\/p>\n

The following applies to programmes marked with a *: viewing is only possible by prior appointment and confirmed reservation at least three days before arrival. Without prior notice, a guide is not included in the price.
\nWith prior notice and confirmation, it is possible to hire a licensed local guide for visits to other sights in the Municipality of Pivka and the Green Karst area.
\nA visit to the Ecomuseum of the Seasonal Lakes of Pivka is exempt from VAT in accordance with point 13 of Article 42 of ZDDV-1. All other services include 22% VAT.
\nAll groups of more than 15 people have a guide included in the price of admission to the Ecomuseum.<\/p>\n<\/div>

Guided tours<\/strong><\/p>\n

A visit is possible for announced groups at any time of year. Guided tours are led by professionally trained guides who can also take you through the Seasonal Lakes of Nature Park and the Green Karst in addition to the Ecomuseum of the Seasonal Lakes of Pivka.
\nThe most popular combination for groups is a visit to the Ecomuseum followed by a guided walk to Petelinjsko jezero Lake.

Ob\u010dina Pivka je uspe\u0161no pridobila sredstva Sklada za podnebne spremembe za izvedbo razli\u010dnih aktivnosti za prilagajanje in bla\u017eenje podnebnih sprememb, med njimi je tudi odstranjevanje invazivnih tujerodnih vrst, ki s svojo prisotnostjo negativno vplivajo na odpornost ekosistemov.

Prva aktivnost, ki smo jo za\u010deli izvajati, je odstranjevanje japonskega dresnika, ene najbolj problemati\u010dnih invazivnih tujerodnih rastlin pri nas, na lokaciji pri pokopali\u0161\u010du v Trnju.

Dela izvaja strokovnjakinja za invazivne tujerodne vrste Jana Kus skupaj z ekipo. Pri odstranjevanju uporabljajo posebno elektri\u010dno napravo, ki deluje neposredno na rastlino in njene podzemne dele.

Japonski dresnik je izjemno trdovratna invazivna vrsta, ki se hitro \u0161iri in izpodriva domorodne rastline. Zaradi mo\u010dnega koreninskega sistema ga ni mogo\u010de odstraniti z enim posegom, zato je treba postopek ve\u010dkrat ponoviti, saj le z vztrajnim in dolgoro\u010dnim ukrepanjem lahko omejimo njegovo \u0161irjenje.

Na bli\u017enjem obmo\u010dju smo odkrili tudi novo rasti\u0161\u010de japonskega dresnika. Ker gre za manj\u0161i sestoj, je ukrepanje \u0161e posebej pomembno. Majhen poganjek, ki ga danes zlahka spregledamo, lahko \u017ee naslednje leto zraste v obse\u017eno rasti\u0161\u010de, katerega odstranjevanje zahteva veliko ve\u010d \u010dasa, dela in finan\u010dnih sredstev. Prav zato je zgodnje odkrivanje in hitro ukrepanje klju\u010dnega pomena.

Pri omejevanju \u0161irjenja invazivnih tujerodnih vrst imajo pomembno vlogo tudi lastniki zemlji\u0161\u010d. Redno spremljanje parcel ter pravo\u010dasno odstranjevanje invazivnih rastlin prepre\u010dujeta njihovo \u0161irjenje v naravno okolje in na sosednja zemlji\u0161\u010da. Invazivne vrste ne poznajo meja med parcelami, zato je odgovorno ravnanje vsakega lastnika pomemben del njihovega obvladovanja.

Japonski dresnik se lahko razmno\u017euje \u017ee iz zelo majhnih delov stebla ali korenike. Zato ga nikoli ne odlagamo v naravo, na kompost ali med zeleni odrez, saj lahko na ta na\u010din nehote ustvarimo novo rasti\u0161\u010de. Rastlinski material, ki bo odstranjen med akcijo, bo zbran in se\u017egan, s \u010dimer bomo prepre\u010dili njegovo nadaljnje \u0161irjenje.

Invazivne tujerodne rastline predstavljajo eno ve\u010djih gro\u017eenj biotski raznovrstnosti. Z razra\u0161\u010danjem zmanj\u0161ujejo \u017eivljenjski prostor domorodnim rastlinam in \u017eivalim ter spreminjajo naravno podobo okolja. Njihovo obvladovanje je pogosto dolgotrajno in zahtevno, zato je prepre\u010devanje \u0161irjenja bistveno u\u010dinkovitej\u0161e od kasnej\u0161ega odstranjevanja.

\u010ce na svojem zemlji\u0161\u010du opazite japonski dresnik ali drugo invazivno tujerodno rastlino, ukrepajte \u010dim prej. S pravo\u010dasnim odzivom lahko prepre\u010dimo nastanek novih \u017eari\u0161\u010d invazivnih vrst.

\n\tV okviru projekta Trajnostni razvoj podjetni\u0161tva na zavarovanih obmo\u010djih so u\u010denci \ud83c\udfeb\ud83d\udc67\ud83d\udc66petega razreda O\u0160 Pivka spoznavali netopirje.\ud83e\udd87\ud83e\udd87\ud83e\udd87

Delavnica je bila zasnovana interaktivno in je u\u010dence\ud83d\udc67\ud83d\udc66 na zanimiv ter njim prilagojen na\u010din popeljala v svet netopirjev\ud83e\udd87. Po zaklju\u010dku predstavitvenega dela je sledil ustvarjalni del \ud83d\udd8c\ud83d\udcd0\ud83d\udd8d\ud83d\udcdcdelavnice, na katerem so otroci izdelali vsak svojega netopirja.\ud83e\udd87

Dogodek je bil med u\u010denci zelo dobro sprejet, saj je na zanimiv, pou\u010den in ustvarjalen na\u010din predstavil \u017eivljenje netopirjev\ud83e\udd87 ter prispeval k ve\u010djemu razumevanju njihove vloge v naravi \ud83e\udd87\ud83c\udf33\ud83e\udd9f in pomena njihovega varovanja.\ud83d\udc9a \t<\/span>\n\t...
